Confucianism
n. a system of philosophical and ethical teachings founded by Confucius and developed by Mencius.
The hearth of Confucianism is Eastern China sometime in 530 BC.
It spread by Chinese influences through political, social, and religious power.
It spread from China to Japan and Korea. Hasn't really spread outside of there, but has common beliefs with other religions.
It's ethnic.
Confucianism is often combined with Buddhism and Taoism.
There are guesses that around 6 million people follow Confucianism.
Yet, some experts claim that there can be over 300 million followers of Confucianism, because it is often combined with other religions.
There are different sects (branches) of Confusianism, which some are; modern Confusianism, Korean Confusianism, XUNZI,
DONG ZHONGSHU.
